I am excited to be able to offer a Spoon Carving Workshop!

Carving a spoon is a very rewarding and relaxing hobby, it's best done with other people and with no pressure or judgement, they will be my only rules (and don't cut yourself or anyone else... please!)

This will be held on February 20th 2021 (Covid permitting) and will adhere to all the government guidelines, with this in mind I will be keeping the group small for now - there are 5 spaces.

The workshop will run from 12 - 4pm on Sunday 20th February 2021 at Long Marston Victory Hall, Tring, HP23, Herts.

The workshop is intended for beginners and by the end of the 4 hours, you will walk away with your very own cooking spoon made from local wood.

You will learn a bit about the wood and the tree it came from, what to look for if you want to forage and start carving your own spoons and then we will get on to the fun part!

You will have your own work area, you can stand or sit and I will provide enough tools for everyone so we don't need to worry about sharing.

If a workshop has to be rescheduled due to a change in Covid circumstances, a voucher or full refund will be offered to all participants.

Please note children aged 16 and over may attend if accompanied by a participating adult,
but the workshop is unsuitable for those under 16.

There is free parking at the hall and coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided.

If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact me via the website or at hello@hertswood.org.

If all goes well there will be more workshops scheduled for the future.
